Who Youll Work With
As a Senior Principal in Strategy specializing in Product Innovation you will partner with our senior leaders to develop and execute longterm strategies to drive innovation across Nike.
This is a unique role blending leftbrain and rightbrain skills and interests marrying business and strategic rigor operations discipline plus an innovators knownoboundaries creativity. It requires a flexible problem solver and outstanding communicator who is comfortable working crossfunctionally and influencing different personalities and perspectives.
Who We Are Looking For
The role will support different groups across our Advanced Innovation Team working with designers developers engineers and innovators to create the future of product for Nike.
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education experience or training
a minimum of 6 years relevant work experience
Proven experience in creative strategy entrepreneurialism management consulting corporate strategy corporate development or business development.
A global innovative approach and a passion for innovation a risk taker that embodies the Innovation approach and can think like an entrepreneur.
Experience in leading sophisticated strategic projects and proven success in leading a methodical process of analyzing problems gathering information generating options then proposing and acting on a course of action.
Ability to lead crossfunctional teams provide project management expertise and to lead multiple projects at once.
Consistent track record of pulling together diverse individuals with different goals and facilitate productive discussions.
Proficiency in business communication tools and verbal/written storytelling communication to promote conceptual understanding and mobilize change through storytelling.
Experience in innovation product creation or digital and/or experience in consumer facing industries.
Bias towards action and comfortable working in ambiguous environments and ability to work through macro and micro situations/complexity.
Superior interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Prior experience in innovation or product creation and a passion about products.
Create white space for innovation and risk taking. A curious mind and futureorientation.
