Job Description

Would you like to be part of a highgrowth team focused on increasing the adoption of Amazon Web Services to make a meaningful impact in the Higher Education market Do you have the business savvy and the technical background necessary to establish Amazon as a key technology platform provider for a large university setting Amazon Web Services is expanding the US Education team in Boston. Amazon offers a creative fast paced entrepreneurial work environment where youll be at the center of Amazon innovation for students administrators researchers and faculty.

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Account Manager to focus on a leading Higher Education institution in the Boston area. The ideal candidate will possess enterprise sales experience be highly customercentric and have a track record of overachieving sales targets. They should also be a selfstarter who is prepared to develop and execute against an account plan to consistently deliver on quarterly targets. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to effectively communicate with faculty business and technical leaders across the enterprise. The Enterprise Sales Representative will be an exceptionally strong and creative thinker who thrives in a team environment and embraces all aspects of selling. They must be able to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment and have very strong verbal and written communication skills.


Key job responsibilities
Drive revenue and market share in the Higher Education vertical
Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan
Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
Accelerate customer adoption
Maintain a robust sales pipeline
Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
Manage contract negotiations
Develop longterm strategic relationships with key accounts
Ensure customer satisfaction

5 years of direct sales or business development in software cloud or SaaS markets selling to Clevel executives experience

Experience selling AI/ML solutions
Experience in building profitable partner ecosystems
Experience communicating results to senior leadership
Experience identifying developing negotiating and closing largescale technology deals
Experience positioning and selling technology to new customers and new market segments
Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customers business
Experience developing detailed go to market plans
