Senior Accountant Bath Area
Salary:(DOE)
Fulltime Hybrid working available
Our Client is a wellestablished and growing accountancy practice based in the Bath area. They are recruiting confidentially for a Senior Accountant to join their expanding team.
This is a key hire for the firm aimed at supporting both client delivery and team development. It will suit someone with a minimum of 3 years UK practice experience who is ready to take on more responsibility work closely with Partners and help coach junior staff.
The Role:
Duties in this role include but are not limited to:
- Take full ownership of a varied client portfolio ensuring strong service delivery.
- Support clients with accounting and tax issues providing clear and practical solutions.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients in the absence of the Partner.
- Coach and mentor junior colleagues supporting their technical and professional growth.
- Build trust and longterm relationships with clients through regular proactive contact.
- Identify and recommend additional services based on client needs.
- Contribute to business development efforts through client meetings proposals and events.
What Youll Bring
- At least 3 years experience in a UK accountancy practice.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and tax issues across a broad client base.
- Experience managing a portfolio and acting as the lead contact.
- Proven track record of coaching junior staff.
- Confidence engaging with clients and contributing to business development.
