Amazon Luna is seeking a Support Engineer to join our team that is focused on building mission critical software used by Amazon customers.
As a Support Engineer your solutions will impact our customers directly. Your ability to learn quickly and work on complex and overlapping tasks will define your success. Your primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting diagnosing and fixing software issues developing automated monitoring and reporting solutions performing software maintenance and tech configurations updating tracking and resolving technical challenges. You will support teams process improvement initiatives working with subject matter experts to help implement automation efforts and tooling solutions. You will work closely with development and QA teams to improve the change management lifecycle. As you grow into your role you will take on responsibility for more and more complex solutions requiring greater technical capabilities.
The ideal candidate must be able to create maintain and automate the standard operating procedures work with stakeholders to prioritize the most impactful products work independently with minimum guidance in a fastpaced environment. You must be able to identify bugs in existing tooling and provide innovative solutions that increase efficiency. You will help design and develop complex high performing scripts and applications. You must be able to work with your manager to effectively prioritize projects make sound judgments and improve the customer experience.
This position is located in Irvine California. Lots of sun close to the beach excellent schools and a great group of people.
4 years of software development or 4 years of technical support experience Experience scripting in modern program languages Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems Experience in agile/scrum or related collaborative workflow Experience troubleshooting and documenting findings
Experience in technical support Knowledge of distributed applications/enterprise applications
