SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Clinical Supervisors are experienced clinicians with the capacity to promote the professional development and practice of agency therapists. Professionals at this level are very experienced and well known in the community. Training in supervision and management are encouraged. Clinical supervisors will typically maintain a client caseload with a percentage of time designated for supervision ranging from 25 (supervision of three FTE therapists) to 75 9 FTE). A fulltime clinical supervisor supervises 12 FTE therapists. This position will supervise therapists through multiple programs including Nebraska and Iowa based programming
Compensation: between $58000 and $73376 (salary is determined by total years of relevant experience)
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 40 hours per week)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters Degree in social work/counseling
- Independent licensure where applicable by state regulations
- Licensed in NE and IA or able to obtain
- Both Mental Health and Substance Abuse licenses preferred
- Five years experience as therapist
- Valid drivers license/ acceptable driving record
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Has primary responsibility for clinical supervision (hiring supervision development performance evaluation documentation QIT) of assigned staff including clinical interns
- Conduct training sessions on therapeutic techniques child and family dynamics and current evidencebased practices for clinicians and support staff.
- Provide guidance and support during critical situations such as child safety concerns behavioral crises or family emergencies.
- Work collaboratively with community partners including schools child protective services and medical professionals to address emergency situations and ensure client safety.
- Provides day to day clinical management for programs as assigned (crisis access and coverage staffing fidelity and implementing new models)
- Maintains client clinical record with treatment plan client progress and discharge summaries
- While working with a caseload of the highest degree of difficulty demonstrates advanced clinical skills in diagnosis intervention formulation and implementation of treatment plan with the clients input.
- Provides mental health crisis intervention as needed.
- Completes level of direct service hours based on supervision needs.
- Maintains good relationships with referral networks
- Always displays a courteous and caring attitude to the clientele volunteers and visitors of the Agency.
- Cooperates and collaborates with program area staff volunteers and other Agency staff.
- Is dependable and punctual regarding scheduling and attendance
- Abides by all specific program and Agency procedures policies and requirements.
- Develops personal and program related skills through participation in internal and external training opportunities including printed material and audio and/or visual media.
- Create maintain and share as appropriate a dynamic selfcare plan.
- Strive to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible to contribute to the agencys ongoing fundraising and friendraising efforts.
