Your opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team at Westfield Bondi Junction. This is a dynamic fastpaced role where you will balance competing priorities with agility. Working closely with the Facilities Manager youll help oversee infrastructure management and maintenance ensuring life safety regulatory compliance operational efficiency and innovationmaximising the full potential of our centre.
Daytoday you will be responsible for:
- Support the delivery of daytoday best in class facilities services in line with the needs of the Centre team to achieve excellence in customer experience.
- Tenancy Coordination working with our contract partners and shop fitters to ensure they are compliant and works are delivered.
- Leadership Lead coach and develop our Facilities Coordinators.
- Ensuring all asset maintenance repair and capital works is accurate and delivered on time and budget completed to the best possible standards by effectively managing our contract partners.
- Supporting the development of asset life cycle plans for the centre.
- Providing immediate response to all emergency evacuation or other incidents within the centre.
This fulltime role includes Duty Management responsibilities requiring occasional weekend shifts on a roster basis balanced with a day off in lieu.

- Industry Experience Background in retail hospitality property or facilities management with a focus on operational excellence.
- Project & Maintenance Proven ability to manage maintenance tasks and projects efficiently ensuring quality timeliness and budget control.
- Safety & Compliance Experience leading compliance and safety initiatives ensuring adherence to regulations and internal policies.
- Stakeholder Engagement Confidence in working with contractors service providers and internal teams to maintain high standards.
- ProblemSolving Ability to adapt quickly address unexpected challenges and make informed decisions in a fastpaced environment.
