The Process Engineer is responsible for loss analysis loss intelligence and loss elimination throughout the Operation. Process Engineers work with Leadership and Core Teams to build capability and engagement to support the Core in achieving performance improvement goals (safety quality delivery and cost. Participation in the daily monthly and annual Plan Do Check Adjust loss analysis process to track performance and develop plans and actions to meet or exceed site targets is an essential part of the role.
The key skills of a Process Engineer are root cause analysis change management and coaching others. These skills are developed and grown as part of the Focused Improvement Pillar of the Integrated Lean Six Sigma program. The Process Engineer also leads various teams responsible for identifying documenting and controlling best practices in their functional area.
The Process Engineer employs a logical approach; is driven accountable and understands the value of bringing science and engineering to manufacturing. This includes assuring permanent achievement of high quality products by managing all aspects related to the manufacturing process (process routes process technologies and parameters process related procedures and work instructions compliance with standard recipes GMP). Process Engineers are strong agents of change and possesses the ability to lead and motivate others.
How you will contribute:
You will:
Provide training on CI/FI tools and techniques. You will also help departments follow our established daily management system (DMS).
Oversee manufacturing standards implementation adherence and modernization deployment.
Provide technical guidance to Lean Six Sigma efforts to support the Measurement System Analysis.
Help teams collect data or extract it from the system to support CI activities and the DMS.
Facilitate rootcause analysis to address identified losses and departmental KPI scorecard gaps.
Establish new work standards to sustain improvement.
Train and qualify colleagues on CI tools and new work standards resulting from CI activities.

Strong facilitation and communication skills to support team discussions on CI activities.
Application of lean and/or TPM tools in a factory or operations environment.
Ability to manipulate and validate data in manual and automated systems.
Mastery of Excel and other data analytics tools.
Organized and disciplined to support and educate on the DMS process.
Logical and structured thinking to extract insights from data.

Education / Certifications:
Bachelors Degree (required) in Food Science; Chemical Food Packaging or Industrial Engineering; Chemistry; Statistics; Information Systems; Operations Management or similar degree preferred or relevant years experience
Green Belt / Black Belt As desire
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience as Process Engineer / FI Engineer / IL6S Engineer
Previous experience leading motivating and engaging teams
Knowledge of Integrated Lean Six Sigma Work Systems
Knowledge of Measurement Methods and Statistical Analysis
Previous Project Management experience
Previous experience in Production Process or Continuous Improvement experience within Food Manufacturing
Familiar with FDA and USDA regulations and requirements
Green Belt/Black Belt
Work schedule:
Full Time Primarily 1st shift Monday Friday
The base salary range for this position is $95100 to $130800; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience skills education and budget. In addition to base salary this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
