About the Role
We are looking for a special kind of person to be part of a wellestablished Reception team. As a Administration Assistant you will provide front of house reception switchboard and administrative duties to a variety of stakeholders and our established team of professional receptionists are ready to provide you with onthejob training and support.
You are a motivated and selfdirected individual with demonstrated ability to deliver a high standard of customer service.
We are open 7 days per week from 7.00am to 9.30pm across two shifts 7.00am3.30pm and 3.00pm9.30pm.
Please note there may be an opportunity for permanent part time hours.
Duties for the position include:
Efficient front of house services operation of main Switchboard and greeting patients and visitors
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
Patient admissions movements and discharges
Initiate emergency procedures when necessary and make overhead announcements
Direct visitors patients and staff to appropriate areas within the hospital
The classification for this position is HS2 HS21 $33.78 $36.50 per hour plus casual loading)
Your Contribution

Excellent communication and demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Strong commitment to customer service
Ability to be selfdirecting and demonstrate initiative
Highly competent in Microsoft applications including Word Excel and Outlook
Flexibility in availability highly regarded
Current nationally coordinated criminal history check or willing to obtain
