Job Description
Are you our nextSupervisor Production
Responsible for safe and environmentally sound daytoday continuous production activities to support the continuous operations of the plant. Includes all facets of production supervision namely hourly employees product quality safety environmental railroad and raw material management. Assist on the implementation of process improvements or capital projects as needed. Assist with employee training and qualifications. The position is a liaison between management shift operations and maintenance. Responsible for conducting audits and inspections. Reviews and authorizes work permits.
What will you do
- Work with operations and maintenance to troubleshoot and address operational problems in the plant to maximize production and safety. Assist in the implementation of process improvements or capital projects.
- Provide work direction to the team as well as timely and constructive feedback to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work roles business goals and performance standards. Manage performance issues when necessary. Develop and coach employees in order to retain and grow organizational talent. Support employees in their career development at Mosaic.
- Facilitate ongoing communication between shifts and management to ensure proper and efficient plant operation product quality allocation of resources safety and environmental.
- Maintain safe and environmentally sound operating conditions within equipment design parameters.
- Miscellaneous job duties as assigned.
What do you need for this role
