About the Role Chemistry Teacher

As a Chemistry Teacher you will be responsible for delivering highquality lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will work closely with a wellestablished science department that values collaboration creativity and consistency in teaching and learning. This role offers the perfect opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced Chemistry Teacher to join a school that truly values science education.

Key Responsibilities for a Chemistry Teacher:

Deliver engaging and accessible Chemistry lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils
Use a range of teaching strategies to support all learners and promote progress
Collaborate with fellow Chemistry Teachers and science colleagues on planning and resource development
Contribute to tracking student progress and preparing them for internal and external assessments
Support enrichment opportunities such as science clubs and project work
Maintain high expectations for behaviour achievement and student engagement

The Ideal Chemistry Teacher Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Chemistry or related subject

Work well in a team of committed Chemistry Teachers and contribute to the wider science department
