Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver captivating Humanities Teacher lessons primarily focusing on History at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE History examinations ensuring a strong understanding of historical concepts and interpretations.
- Cultivate a dynamic learning environment that encourages historical inquiry debate and the analysis of sources within the broader humanities curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Humanities (History) providing insightful feedback to enhance their understanding.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in History or Humanities.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Humanities Teacher lessons with a strong emphasis on History at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- A strong and comprehensive knowledge of British and world history within a broader humanities framework.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills capable of bringing historical events to life for students.
