Job Description
A faithdriven school in Kensington is seeking a passionate Religious Education Teacher to guide students in exploring faith ethics and spirituality. This is a unique opportunity for a Religious Education Teacher in an environment where Religious Education is central to the schools values. The successful Religious Education Teacher will help students develop their spiritual and ethical awareness. We welcome applications from a dedicated Religious Education Teacher. Location: KensingtonRole: Religious Education Teacher (FullTime Permanent)
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Religious Education with a focus on faith moral values and ethical discussions helping students explore their beliefs in a meaningful way.
- Encourage critical thinking and respectful dialogue allowing students to engage with theological and philosophical questions within Religious Education.
- Use engaging and interactive teaching methods to bring faith and ethics to life in the Religious Education classroom.
- Support the schools wider faithbased initiatives including prayer gatherings and interfaith projects within Religious Education.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop a Religious Education curriculum that nurtures both academic and spiritual growth.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Religious Studies Theology Philosophy or a related field.
- A strong personal commitment to faith and religious education.
- The ability to inspire students to explore and understand faith ethics and spirituality in a modern context within Religious Education.
- Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate thoughtful discussions in Religious Education.
- A dedicated educator who values the role of faith in education and is eager to contribute to the schools mission in Religious Education.
