Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE) is a premier provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) offering homebased ABA therapy in the Virginia Beach Norfolk and Chesapeake areas. What You ll Do:
- Provide direct care services and specialized support in daily living social and recreational activities
- Assist individuals to foster maximum independence
- Participate in developing and implementing individualized support plans
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of individuals at all times
- Encourage participation in activities both at home and in the community
- Observe behaviors and physical changes implement prescribed strategies and document observations accurately
- Maintain confidential client case notes billing and reports for families and professionals
- Participate in 1020 monthly supervision with a BCBA
- Track and report hours worked directly with clients in ABA services
- Perform housekeeping and vehicle cleaning duties as needed
- Support additional tasks as assigned by the director
- Protect client privacy and rights in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Who You Are:
- High school diploma or transcripts required
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Valid driver s license proof of car insurance clean driving record and reliable vehicle
- Experience working with children or adults with disabilities is a plus
- Passionate about excellence and dedicated to our mission
- Physically able to lift 50 pounds move quickly and be active for most of the day
- Able to walk/stand 75 of the day bend kneel squat crawl and sit on the floor as needed
- Able to quickly move short distances (up to 100 ft) to engage with clients
- Reliable transportation and able to pass a criminal background check
- Willingness to commute within 30 minutes of client homes or clinics
- Motivated to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within 90 days through our training program
