Job Description
Our client a global healthcare company is seeking a Validation Specialist to ensure compliance and functionality of SAP S/4 HANA pre and postmigration. The role involves validating endtoend business processes implementing Vera and qTest frameworks and ensuring adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory standards.
This is a remote contract role starting with a oneyear contract for a 2 year project that is likely to renew. The selected candidate can be located anywhere in India and must be able to support the clients EST preferred time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate endtoend business processes in SAP S/4 HANA postmigration focusing on pharmaceutical industry workflows
- Lead the new implementation of Vera (test automation) and qTest (test management) for SAP S/4 HANA validation
- Develop and execute test scripts to address changes in processes postupgrade from SAP ECC 6 including revalidation of customizations
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (functional consultants developers business users) to ensure alignment of test strategies with Agile methodologies
- Address potential data migration validation (e.g. data integrity consistency) as part of the testing scope
- Document defects track resolutions in qTest and optimize Vera automation frameworks for efficiency
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and validation protocols
Requirements
- 5 years of SAP validation/testing experience with recent handson experience in SAP S/4 HANA (postmigration projects preferred)
- Pharmaceutical industry experience (regulatory compliance validation practices GxP knowledge)
- Proficiency in Vera (test automation scripting) and qTest (test case management defect tracking)
- Experience designing test scripts for endtoend business processes (e.g. OrdertoCash ProcuretoPay)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira/Confluence
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders
Highly Preferred:
- Certifications in SAP S/4 HANA Testing Vera or qTest
- Exposure to data migration validation in SAP environments
- Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology or DevOps practices for testing
5+ years of SAP validation/testing experience, with recent hands-on experience in SAP S/4 HANA (post-migration projects preferred) Pharmaceutical industry experience (regulatory compliance, validation practices, GxP knowledge) Proficiency in Vera (test automation scripting) and qTest (test case management, defect tracking) Experience designing test scripts for end-to-end business processes (e.g., Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay) Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira/Confluence Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders Highly Preferred: Certifications in SAP S/4 HANA Testing, Vera, or qTest Exposure to data migration validation in SAP environments Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology or DevOps practices for testing
