Job Description
A wellestablished primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join their team for a fixedterm maternity cover position. The role is fulltime and expected to start in September 2025 following the halfterm break. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to contribute to the early years education of young learners in a supportive and dynamic school environment.
Position Overview
- Role: EYFS Teacher
- Location: Tower Hamlets
- Contract: FullTime FixedTerm (Maternity Cover up to one year)
- Start Date: September 2025 (After Half Term)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver highquality engaging and childcentered lessons tailored to the needs of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports childrens social emotional and academic development.
- Assess childrens progress through observation and documentation providing individualized support to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
- Plan and implement creative and effective activities that cover all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent and cohesive teaching practices.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and carers providing regular updates on childrens progress.

Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Qualifications: Relevant teaching qualifications (e.g. PGCE QTS or equivalent).
- Experience: Experience teaching in an EYFS setting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum excellent communication skills and the ability to engage children in their learning.
