Skills

• Mechanical Engineering degree with a PE license (Professional Engineer)
• Experience with HVAC and/or plumbing design work on various project types (e.g. commercial multifamily K12 schools municipal buildings healthcare)
• Proficiency in Revit as the primary CAD system
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Project management experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with HVAC modeling programs such as TRACE700 CHVAC7.0 and/or AIRMaster (big plus)
• Ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Calculate design and generate AutoCAD and/or Revit files and construction documents for MEP engineering needs
• Manage projects establish schedules assign resources monitor performance and ensure projects stay on time and within budget
• Organize mechanical engineering documents and maintain project schedules
• Review mechanical design submittals and address issues in the field as needed
• Generate and present project status updates to various audiences
• Develop new business with existing and new clients through relationship building

Qualifications

• PE license (Professional Engineer)
• Relevant experience in HVAC and/or plumbing design
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
• Experience managing projects preferred

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
