This is an excellent opportunity for a Server Engineer to design & oversee largescale complex server infrastructure for one of the worlds largest beverage companies.
Based in Johannesburg this 12Month contract is offering R450PH R500PH

THE ROLE
In this role youll be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining secure highperforming server systems that underpin the companys operations. Your work will ensure robust and efficient IT infrastructure through tasks such as server management infrastructure design security measures and incident response. Collaborating closely with network engineers and application developers youll also handle seamless integration of systems resolve compatibility issues and act as a technical escalation point to support a stable secure environment for business needs.
THE REQUIREMENTS
At least 8 years of experience
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate CompTIA Server VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
Proficiency in server virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware HyperV) scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell Python) and both Windows and Linux server operating systems.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in PowerShell Python or Bash.
Familiarity with cloud services like AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
