Job Description

TranSource Truck & Equipment is looking to hire a Service Advisor at our Rapid City branch.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and answer phone calls throughout the workday.
  • Report to the Service Manager and work closely with the Service Technicians Parts and Sales Department.
  • Schedule service appointments and advise customers about necessary services for routine maintenance.
  • Communicate with customers about inspection results recommend corrective procedures and prepare work order for needed and approved repairs.
  • Prepares a repair order showing time cost and labor estimates for services needed.
  • Check on progress of repair orders throughout the day to ensure timely completion. Communicate with customer on progress of the job and any additional repairs that are required..
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction standards.
  • Responsible to keep skills up to date with industry trends emerging technologies & dealer standards per OEM.
  • Must have experience with parts or equipment.
