Job Description

The Mortgage Funding and Broker Support team is primarily responsible for the administration of routine residential mortgage portfolio from new loan inception to maturity or discharge. In addition to preparing and processing all mortgagerelated transactions and documents this position requires a high degree of accuracy and team work.

The Mortgage Administrator Funding Specialist sets up/administers new mortgage business processes the related financial transactions addresses routine queries from internal and external customers and maintains control of all security/property documents.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Set up and administer new mortgage business and process the related financial transactions.

  • Address routine queries from internal and external customers.

  • Maintain control of all security/property documents

Required Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of residential mortgage business and mortgage underwriting practices.

  • Knowledge of real estate law and mortgagerelated provincial legislation.

  • Sound knowledge of MS Office programs such as Word and Excel. Previous Banking experience is an asset.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Proven organization and time management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a highvolume fastpaced environment.

  • Ability to understand and correctly interpret legal mortgage documents.

  • Oral and written French language skills are an asset but not required.

  • During peak times overtime will be required.

Salary range is expected to be between

$41700.00 CAD $69500.00 CAD
