This is a handson role for someone with solid experience in CNC turning. Youll be programming setting and operating CNC lathes to produce tighttolerance components for industries where the details matter aerospace automotive motorsport medical you name it.
You wont be stuck churning out the same part for days. Instead expect a mix of short and medium batch work a variety of materials and the chance to work on some genuinely interesting and often bespoke projects.

Monday to Thursday: 7.30am 4.00pm
Friday: 7.30am 3.00pm
Occasional overtime availability
Program set and operate CNC lathes (Fanuc control preferred)
Interpret technical drawings with confidence
Maintain high standards of accuracy and surface finish
Select appropriate tooling and materials for each job
Inspect parts during and after machining to ensure quality
Work alongside engineers to troubleshoot and improve processes
Proven experience in CNC turning (programming setting operating)
Confident with Fanuc controls (or similar)
Able to read and work from engineering drawings independently
Comfortable with oneoff and lowvolume work
Good communicator team player and reliable in the workshop
Experience in offline programming Featurecam / Fusion 360 would be an advantage.
