Job Title: Senior Manager Crew Scheduling

Reports To: General Manager of Crew Scheduling
Job Purpose:
To lead and optimize the crew scheduling operations ensuring regulatory compliance operational efficiency and support for ontime performance (OTP). The role involves strategic planning automation leadership process improvement staff development and crossdepartmental coordination to ensure seamless crew operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Planning:
- Establish and follow up on productivity and operational targets for the crew scheduling team.
- Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all job roles within the team.
- Develop and implement a succession plan to ensure continuity and smooth functioning of operations.
Crew Scheduling Operations:
- Lead the automation of the crew scheduling process and ensure effective utilization of scheduling systems.
- Develop and oversee efficient and optimal processes for both flight and cabin crew scheduling.
- Ensure crew scheduling supports OTP goals through strategic planning and realtime responsiveness.
- Review and recommend improvements to Crew Operating Patterns (COP).
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate with Network Planning OCC and other departments to drive crossfunctional process improvements.
- Coordinate with the fleet office and relevant stakeholders for ongoing enhancements.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Review monthly extension reports and provide actionable insights to the Senior Leadership Team.
- Ensure proper tracking and reporting of crewrelated data for decisionmaking and compliance.
Team Management & Development:
- Ensure the development and delivery of training modules for all crew scheduling staff.
- Monitor and ensure timely completion of mandatory training across the team.
- Foster a highperformance culture through mentoring and continuous feedback.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Reporting Manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in aviation management Business Administration or related field. A masters degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 810 years of experience in crew scheduling/operations with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior leadership role.
- Strong understanding of crew scheduling software regulatory compliance and operational efficiency metrics.
- Proven track record of leading automation initiatives and process improvements.
- Excellent interpersonal leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced highpressure environment.
