You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWork with the SFA AZ Solar Program Impact Evaluator to manage all SFA AZ compliance requirements establish standards/best practices and guide program teams on any changes/improvements
With other SFA AZ program managers and other relevant partners help develop critically needed workforce development pathways to quality green jobs for residents of lowincome disadvantaged rural and Tribal communities
Manage SFA AZ procurement processes subaward contracts and routine monitoring of administrative compliance in partnership with the Solar Program Impact Evaluator and the Governors Office Procurement staff
Support management of the programs budgets to ensure optimal allocation of resources to achieve program goals without overspending
Assist Solar Program Impact Evaluator in development of standards and processes to meet SFA AZ compliance and quality requirements
Coordinate with the Solar Community Development/Engagement Educator to facilitate Statewide stakeholder engagement
Ensure all program objectives timelines evaluations and reporting are achieved on time as it relates to SFA AZ strategy
This position will report directly to the Arizona Governors Office of Resiliency Director
Responsible for the overall success of the SFA AZ residential rooftop solar program
Actively monitor and assess policy relevant to the programs scope and objectives
Understanding of applicable federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to grants and grants management procedures
Ability to work in diverse political and cultural environments
Experience in solar deployment within the residential sector
BA/BS degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees favored
5 years in program management and/or project leadership
Expertise in budget management and contract negotiation
Strategic vision development and operational excellence
Proficiency in federal program management
Leadership and team management skills
Experience in engaging with communities historically underrepresented or underserved in the energy sector
Experience in the energy sector especially with utilities renewable energy or government contracts
Knowledge of the solar industry including market trends and technologies
Masters degree in a relevant field
Economics political science public policy public administration business planning or other social sciences
Ability to maintain a clean driving record; Ability to pass a background check performed by Arizona Department of Public Safety
Ability to possess and maintain a valid Arizona Drivers License and operate a motor vehicle
