Role Overview:
Our consultants form a pivotal part of F5 Networks Professional Services delivery organization working across diverse environmentsfrom public and private clouds to enterprise data centers. They help customers implement F5s security automation and cloud solutions with responsiveness and technical expertise. This role offers the opportunity to explore new technologies solve complex problems and deliver real value to clients.
Consultants operate with a high degree of independence identifying whats needed to complete assignments efficiently while collaborating with a global team of likeminded professionals. Prior experience with F5 technologies is appreciated but not requiredwhats essential is strong communication analytical thinking and a commitment to quality.
Youll interact with global customers so fluency in English and the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences is key. What you will do:
Deliver labor associated with custom scoped Statements of Work to F5 customers.
Provide technical responsibilities that may include but are not limited to problem identification systems architecture definition hardware/software specification design implementation testing client training and solution deployment.
Effectively lead and deliver technical workshops
Manage customer interaction and engagement including documentation and followup.
Maintain expert level proficiency of F5 products and technologies through selfdirected and formal training.
Demonstrate ability to become trusted advisor within customer environment.
Demonstrate control of engagement and develop customer confidence in F5s ability to resolve critical issues in a timely and effective manner
What you will bring:
BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a focus on architecture and design of Application Delivery and Security solutions.
Experience working with Linux Unix and Windows Cloud environments
Experience with network protocols and theory (TCP/IP UDP ICMP MAC addresses IP packets DNS and load balancing etc.
Good understanding of HTTP protocol and related technologies
Experience with network security solutions and technologies leading security solutions
Experience with public clouds: Amazon Web Services (AWS) Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Microsoft Azure
Experience with virtualized and containerized environments: Kubernetes and Docker
Experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code: Terraform Ansible Jenkins
Experience with Scripting or development skills: Python Ruby Shell etc.
Working knowledge in F5 products and technologies is a plus
Must be able to read write and speak English fluently as well as prevalent local language.
Excellent communication documentation and presentation skills.
Ability to articulate and transfer complex ideas to a wide audience through both verbal and written communication.
Demonstrated strong written communication presentation writing and technical documentation skills.
Should be handson and be able to perform the role independently.
Demonstrable experience to work as part of a team of engineers and to deliver one or several projects simultaneously.
