They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Systems Engineer to join their team and ensure the high performance and availability of their Linux compute and storage infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Provide specialist input into departmental plans and budgets.
Collaborate with engineers to design reusable solutions that minimize costs.
Ensure project objectives meet financial and operational criteria.
Identify system optimizations for high performance and availability.
Manage strategic relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
Plan and manage business projects according to set protocols and SLAs.
Write functional specifications for technology solutions.
Lead infrastructure projects and design largescale implementations.
Maintain disaster recovery and security measures in solution designs.
Conduct market research for computing products and services.
