Job Description
Were partnering with a leading electrical contractor and conducting a search for a Senior Accountant. If you have construction accounting experience and want to join a strong growthoriented company this could be a great opportunity.
Position Details:
Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Albany NY (officebased)
Key Responsibilities:

Manage job cost accounting WIP schedules and project billing
-
Support monthly close financial reporting and budgeting processes

Work closely with Project Managers on project financials and forecasting

Handle subcontractor compliance including lien waivers and insurance tracking

Assist with CPA firm audits and yearend financial preparation
MustHave Qualifications:
- 4 years of accounting experience in the construction industry (electrical contractor experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of job cost percentageofcompletion accounting and project billing
- Proficiency with construction accounting software (such as Viewpoint Foundation Sage 300 or similar)
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
