Job Description

The Electro Mechanical Technician 2 will work on weekend nights responsible for designing and troubleshooting electrical circuits hydraulic and pneumatic systems for machines and equipment. This role involves installing electrical and electronic controls performing mechanical repairs and ensuring that the machinery operates safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess both technical skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic circuits

Responsibilities

  • Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical PLC and electronic circuits
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
  • Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment
  • Perform basic mechanical repairs
  • Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective parts
  • Install and monitor electrical equipment for performance and hazards
  • Assemble install test repair and adjust electrical fixtures and equipment
  • Mount motors transformers and lighting fixtures according to specifications
  • Carry out a variety of tasks as directed by the Group Leader

Qualifications

  • Twoyear Associate degree in a related field
  • 24 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to utilize a computer for parts search and CMMS entry
