Job Description
My client a leading financial services provider in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Lead Java Engineer to oversee the development and implementation of a greenfield PostTrade Systems. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned IT professional with significant experience in critical application systems on Linux platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead system development and project implementation efforts including business requirement analysis resource management application development and documentation.
- Design and develop systems using modern technologies such as Cloud solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with various IT teams to ensure seamless project .
- Provide production system support and troubleshooting.
- Mentor and guide a team of software developers in Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
- Undertake additional assignments and projects as directed by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in software development for largescale missioncritical systems.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading software development teams.
- Strong knowledge of Linux databases CI/CD and cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java JavaScript SQL and shell scripting.
- Strong analytical skills selfmotivated and capable of working independently.
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and documentation processes.
- Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
