Job Description
What Youll Do:
- Own critical incidents by identifying root causes mitigating impact and leading postmortem reviews to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure the seamless operation of distributed multiserver trading systems.
- Be the goto expert for traders by providing handson trade floor support and direct application assistance.
- Oversee UAT coordination and production software releases to maintain stability and performance.
- Collaborate with Operations and Development teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
- Design and implement robust monitoring and logging solutions enhancing system reliability and visibility.
- Automate and optimize workflows developing scripts and tools to drive operational excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement by proactively identifying gaps and suggesting better processes or tools.
- Engage in occasional afterhours support and testing as required to ensure smooth operations.
What You Bring:
- A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in a trading support or similar technical role.
- Proficiency with Linux environments and scripting languages (e.g. Python Perl or PHP).
- A proven track record of driving change and delivering results in a collaborative environment.
- Exceptional communication skills in English both written and verbal.
- A passion for automation and building scalable standardsbased solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a fastpaced trading environment.
