POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Operations is the executive leader of the Production (Manufacturing) Supply Chain and Facility functions. They are responsible for delivering Marie Veronique products in alignment with Marie Veroniques revenue cost and quality objectives. The Director of Operations will lead their team to plan budget and execute the Operations strategy and report the outcomes regularly to the COO. The Director of Operations will work closely with the COO to implement and enforce company production operation systems and processes. They are responsible for the hiring and performance management of Operations employees ensuring the continuous improvement of employee performance. The Director of Operations will drive team performance goals for all Marie Veronique products to optimize Efficiency Yield Defects/Unit Workmanship Quality Material and Direct Labor Costs all in accordance with GMP best practices. With the COO and the Director of QA/QC/Regulatory they will develop policies and processes that ensure achievement of the certification objectives of Marie Veronique up to and including OTC GMP.
They will be responsible for handling the negotiations budgeting and inventory/resources information for the company and will oversee the procurement and purchasing of raw materials as well as logistics and distribution. The Director of Operations will also have primary responsibility for Facility management. The Director of Operations must be an excellent communicator with superior analytical skills capable of effective collaboration and delegation as well as have strong leadership skills when managing projects.

From there she went on to develop a line for acne and was one of the first to formulate a nonnano zinc oxide sunscreen. She continues to lead the way towards safe yet effective skincare determined to move an industry ensconced in hype into the realm of science. She holds degrees in Math and Science trained as an esthetician and is a former high school chemistry teacher.
Our products vary from natural oils to waterbased serums across a range of cleansers mists face oils serums and masks and although we are a small Berkeley business our products have been featured in Oprah Daily Vogue HB Fit New York Times The Coveteur Into The Gloss and the Wall Street Journal.

ESSENTIALDUTIES: Include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Develop the manufacturing strategy and establish plans formaintaining high standards of manufacturing quality to ensure that productsconform to established customer and company regulatory and qualitystandards.
Prepare and direct the daily weekly and monthly Productionschedule resource assignment and Production transactions.
Build and maintain a fully engaged talented optimum staffing levels with the least amount of overhead and rawmaterial costs to meet annual budgetary plan while delivering to the productiondemand.
Ensure the company maintains GMP compliant facilities to upholdour leadership position in process development and costeffective manufacturingof products.
Perform capacity analysis to support production growth andproductivity goal setting.
Accomplish goals of the manufacturing strategy consistent withestablished manufacturing and safety policies and procedures.
Work closely with Marie Veroniques partners to ensure productdemand schedules are fulfilled the quality of product received meets MarieVeroniques standards product design transfer to manufacturing information isprovided and manufacturing changes/plans for continuous improvement arecommunicated.
Facilitate Technical Transfer and NPI activities of theR&D & QA/Regulatory functional groups to ensure successful Productionramp up and continuous product improvement
Oversee any additional build out required including but notlimited to assisting in selection of equipment suitable for meeting GMPrequirements and ensure capacity needs are met for several years to come.
