Job Description

Responsibilities

Noblis Mission Solutions Division (MSD) provides naval lifecycle management engineering enterprise transformation and program management support. Noblis MSDs engineers developers technical staff programmers analysts and program managers identify and deploy new shipboard technologies integrate information technology across shipboard platforms and develop strategies to support the Warfighter. Candidates should have experience in supply chain management and/or related fields (including business and financial planning contracts administration project management logistics and manufacturing).

Responsibilities will include:

  • Define and develop material requirements and strategy.
  • Responsible for the assessment of supply resources; aggregate and prioritize demand requirements; plan inventory distribution requirements production and material for all products.
  • Participate in make/buy process longterm capacity and resource planning; product phasein/phaseout endoflife management and productline management.
  • Analyze and aggregate supply / demand requirements.
  • Analyze purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools.
  • Plan inventory levels based on dependent and independent BillofMaterials (BOM) requirements.
  • Create/reduce supply requirements based on inventory adjustments.
  • Participate in longterm capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling of new product line phaseins as well as existing product line phaseouts.
  • Interface with Source process area regarding inventory levels working capital and other areas as needed.
  • Create/release requisitions.
  • Receive/review requirements for nonstandard parts.
  • Analyze lead times and identify critical path procurements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree plus 3 years of supply chain general business finance or sales experience (OR Associates 6 years of experience OR High School 9 years).

  • Demonstrated experience and/or knowledge in a manufacturing and/or materials depot environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance (US Citizenship is required)
  • Demonstrated experiencemanaging material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools
  • Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations
  • ProficiencyMicrosoft Office Programs (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint Project)

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain process strongly preferred
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings
  • Experience in proposal roles and responsibilities a plus
  • Experience in Deltek CostPoint and CMPro (or related)
  • Experience working with IT related technologies and equipment
  • Demonstrated materials management experience
  • Demonstrated experience with cost schedule variance reporting
  • People leadership and familiarity with DOD Operations

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors including but not limited to the combination of education certifications knowledge skills competencies and experience internal and external equity location and clearance level as well as contractspecific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this positionis provided within the posting andare based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements) and is just one component of Noblis total compensation package for employees.
