Job Description

Position Summary

The University of Southern Indiana seeks applications for a 10month Instructor in Nursing. The Instructor in Nursing position is renewable and non tenure track.

Position begins August 1 2025 or when filled.

Duties/Responsibilities

This position will assume classroom teaching responsibilities as well as clinical supervision of students in the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs.

Required Knowledge and Skills

To qualify for the instructor position a Masters degree in Nursing is required. All candidates must hold a valid and unencumbered Indiana (or compact) RN license.

About the College

The faculty in the Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions work collaboratively with nursing and other health care professional faculty. The support for facultys teaching practice and scholarship activities are substantially enhanced through grants and other extramural funding. A cuttingedge Clinical Simulation Center is used to enhance student learning and support innovative teaching.

The college in addition to university support has a fourperson technology team that supports the online and inclassroom teaching for the MSN and DNP program courses. A dedicated Advising Center for the College provides support for student advising and related activities. All programs are fully accredited and have an exemplary record of grant award successes.
