A bit about the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a successful and supportive team at a rapidly developing school of 280 children in Calne Wiltshire which received a Good judgment from Ofsted in July 2024. Come and join us in September 2025.
If you are (or as an ECT have ambition to be) an effective and enthusiastic Class Teacher who can create and nurture an engaging classroom learning environment being committed to providing a warm welcoming stimulating learning experience for the children in their class this could be your dream job. The flexibility to be happy teaching across the primary age range will be a real advantage because although the post is initially a oneyear fixed contract we are expecting it to become established very quickly.

We are looking for you if you are someone who:
- Keeps children at the heart of the teaching and learning process.
- Is an ambitious practitioner (at any stage of your career) with a consistently high expectation of both pupil and staff achievement attainment and behaviour.
- Is an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills which shine through in the high level of care you show.
- Can contribute to and take support from our fantastic team of colleagues.
- Can work with colleagues so we:
- Develop our inclusive curriculum to improve outcomes for all pupils
- Support the effective use of assessment across the school to evaluate and raise standards of achievement.
- Embed our selfevaluation systems to ensure consistency across the school so all children get the very best we can offer.
