Job Description
Blue Recruitment Personnel is working with a well established temperature controlled logistics provider to recruit experienced Class 1 (C E) HGV Drivers in Skelmersdale
Key Responsibilities:

- Nationwide trunking and multi-drop deliveries
- Pre and post trip checks; ensuring safety and compliance
- Accurate paperwork and digital tachograph utilisation
- Safe handling of temperature sensitive goods
- Upholding company image with professional client interaction
- Valid UK Class 1 (C E) licence, CPC certificate, and digital tachograph card
- Maximum of 6 penalty points; no DD / DR / IN convictions
- Minimum 6 months driving experience (preference for chilled/frozen logistics)
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Hourly rate between 15.30 18.00, depending on shift pattern and experience
- Guaranteed hours and consistent shift patterns
- Overtime and unsocial hours bonus opportunities
- Access to modern fleet and well-maintained depot facilities
- Supportive working environment with training and career development
- Day / Night / Weekend shifts available
- Flexible rota options (e.g. 4-on/4-off, Monday Friday, weekend-focused)
- Shift lengths typically range from 10 12 hours, with overtime potential
