Job Description
Due to our continued growth Piper Alderman is seeking a talented Associate with 4 years of postqualified experience to join our Litigation & Dispute Resolution group. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial litigation and related dispute matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with partners and senior lawyers on litigation and dispute matters
- Drafting emails correspondence opinions advice and legal documentation for court and tribunal proceedings
- Assisting with the preparation and management of files
- Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents
- Managing the discovery process including collecting reviewing and organising documents and evidence
- Attending court appearances and mediations
To succeed in this role you will ideally have:
- 4 years of postadmission general litigation experience
- Strong technical legal skills
- Commitment to excellence attention to detail and delivering highquality outcomes for clients
- Ability to effectively manage time handle competing tasks and work to tight deadlines
- Strong drafting skills particularly in drafting court documents and affidavits
- Team player with a supportive and collaborative working style
- Selfmotivated with a cando attitude and eagerness to learn and grow your career with Piper Alderman
