Job Description
The Quick Lane Technician position at Olathe Ford is an entrylevel role designed for motivated individuals looking to start a career as an automotive technician. The role involves performing basic maintenance services and inspections on vehicles with opportunities for advancement through Ford factory training and internal promotions. The Quick Lane team works collaboratively to service a high volume of vehicles daily providing a supportive environment for learning and growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic maintenance services such as oil changes tire rotations and filter replacements.
- Replace batteries wipers and small light bulbs.
- Conduct predelivery inspections to support new car sales.
- Inspect each vehicle record findings and recommend additional work using an iPad.
Requirements
- Strong physical dexterity for working with tools.
- Ability to collaborate well with others in a team setting.
- Strong communication skills.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Basic computer skills.
- Positive friendly attitude with a customer service mentality.
- Enjoy working in a fastpaced environment.
- Willingness to learn new technology repair and service procedures.
- Valid drivers license.
