Project Surveyor

44425 Bath Hybrid

Full Time Permanent 37 hours per week

Maintaining and improving our diverse housing portfolio requires skilled professionals committed to excellence. As a Project Surveyor within our Asset Management team youll ensure that improvement works across our property stock are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.

This role offers exceptional scope to make a real impact from delivering professional surveying services to managing complex refurbishment projects that enhance our residents homes and communities. What youll be doing

  • Deliver professional surveying design and contract administration services for refurbishment projects that meet quality standards and achieve objectives
  • Implement a customerfocused approach to project and contract management including principal design specification and delivery
  • Provide effective programme forecasting progress monitoring and cost management to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Work closely with local authority planning departments to ensure refurbishment work complies with statutory requirements particularly important in Baths unique architectural context
  • Manage the procurement of goods and services in line with Curos strategies to ensure value for money and high customer satisfaction
  • Take ownership of project data integrity including financial projections and performance reporting
  • Ensure sound budgetary control systems are established and the financial performance of refurbishment schemes is effectively managed
  • Take responsibility for risk and issues management ensuring projects are delivered in line with Curos corporate approach
  • Ensure health and safety related activities including compliance with statutory obligations are robustly managed

More about you

Youll hold a relevant professional qualification or have substantial relevant experience in the field of surveying and project management.

Your significant experience in detailed design work for building refurbishment will be crucial along with a proven track record in delivering capital/revenue projects within a property investment organisation.

You have a detailed understanding of managing health and safety within properties and construction works including CDM asbestos fire water gas and electrical safety regulations.

Youre selfmotivated with excellent organisational skills able to prioritise effectively to meet deadlines in a busy environment. Your numeracy and analytical skills enable you to interpret statistical and financial information make informed judgments and manage risk effectively.

Your excellent communication and negotiation skills help you build strong relationships with stakeholders while your commercial acumen and business awareness ensure project success.

A valid driving licence and access to transport is essential for this role.
