About the program

The Intern program provides students with 12 weeks of paid employment giving you the opportunity to participate in the industryleading oil and gas projects while acquiring practical skills relevant to your field of study.

We also provide education and training during the program to help cultivate your professional skills within a diverse inclusive supportive and collaborative workplace.

We encourage candidates who selfidentify as neurodivergent (Autistic ADHD Dyslexia Dyscalculia Tourettes etc. to apply. The Intern Program is part of a Neurodiversity Inclusion Program and will include accommodations and support throughout.

About the role

During the Intern Program you will work across the Subsurface teams comprising of Geologists Geophysicists and Engineers on a variety of projects designed to grow your capabilities and add business value. You can also expect crossfunctional opportunities that increase your business knowledge as you collaborate to deliver results.

This role will be based in Chevrons new building at One The Esplanade.

Eligibility / Requirements

For Earth Science we encourage applications from motivated and talented university students with individual stream or combination of geology earth science geophysics physics or related disciplines with a keen interest in the oil and gas industry and advancing the cleaner energy solutions needed for a lower carbon future.

To be eligible for the Chevron Intern Program applicants must be:

• Eligible to legally work and live in Australia permanently.

• In their penultimate or final year of an undergraduate degree or postgraduates.

• Available for a fulltime work (Monday to Friday) throughout the duration of employment from 24 November 2025 until 20 February 2026 with the week of 22 December off work).

• Effective communication skills with strong analytical skills and a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
