Product Manager Road & Gravel
OVERVIEW
Join us at Specialized Bicycle Components in Freiburg Germany as we push the boundaries of innovation in the world of bikes. We are in search of a Product Manager to drive our road & gravel bike product line forward. In this role you will play a vital role in defining the future of cycling by shaping our product offerings.
HOW YOULL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Be the voice of the road rider and an advocate for our riders needs within the road & gravel bike product development team. Guide the product development process for road & gravel bikes from ideation to launch ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.
- Define and communicate the road & gravel bike product road map focusing on features pricing and market positioning.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including design engineering project management and marketing to bring road & gravel bike products to market on time and within budget.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends rider needs and travel and time in the field required.
- Develop a deep understanding of our global rider base their preferences and their cycling experiences.
- Create and maintain product specifications and documentation.
- Manage product life cycle making datadriven decisions on product improvements updates and discontinuations.
- Ensure effective product launches including collaboration with marketing on product positioning sales training and rider support.
- Monitor product performance and gather feedback from riders to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay current with the latest industry developments and innovations in road cycling.
WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in the cycling industry preferably with road & gravel bikes.
- Passion for cycling and a deep understanding of the road & gravel bike market.
- Bachelors or higher degree in Business Marketing Engineering related field or Experience in lieu of education
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30.
- Working proficiency in English
