Job Description

What you will do

Johnson Controls is seeking an Ace Commercial Development Program Manager role that reports to our Sales and Commercial Excellence team based in Glendale WI. You will have the opportunity to manage the ACE (Accelerated Commercial Excellence) program participants and guide their journey to become bestinclass front line sellers for our various Product Business covering our North American customers!

This is an exciting opportunity to help build future leaders and support our mission to grow product sales and increase market share. You will coordinate with our Product Business Units to understand their sales resourcing needs and build and training curriculum. This role will construct a training program with consideration for the specific PBU the participants will support while also exposing them to all JCI product offerings serving the building lifecycle ecosystem. Youre also responsible for functional level objectives based on an overall business strategy to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction while developing high talent that will continue to provide value to the company.

How you will do it

  • Recruit and market the ACE program at target universities to attract top talent and diverse applicants

  • Collaborate with the product business commercial sales leaders to align ACE objectives with their sales goals. Establish update cadence with key product business stakeholders on ACE participants progression

  • Responsible for onboarding program participants into JCI and managing program participants and define work processes policy and behavioral expectations

  • Schedule 1x1 sessions with program participants for ongoing individual coaching and mentoring for the duration of the program

  • Develop training schedules for product systems and tools and be proactive with introducing new products. Partner with other JCI early career program managers to optimize resources.

  • Review and coach team on customer interactions and track through the utilization of repeatable performance dashboard.

  • Ensure the participants are trained in the aspects of Sales Management Disciplines (utilizing JCI internal subject matter experts) such as account planning customer management sales strategy etc.

  • Attend key customer meetings to stay connected with our customers needs and expectations

  • Identify organizational needs and implement improvements to keep the ACE program at and above industry peers

  • Be a leader in representing a drive to win and fostering an inclusive culture

What we look for
Required

  • Bachelors Degree preferably in business and/or program management or related field

  • 5 years of program management experience

  • 5 years of leadership experience and/or having direct reports training mentoring and conducting 1 on 1s

  • Knowledge of Salesforce case management and reporting

  • Effectively communicate across levels in the organization and extending to internal and external partners.

  • Able to lead through influence and have strong teamwork and collaborative skills

  • Able to travel domestically up to 10 of the time

Preferred

  • Industry experience with products in fire suppression fire detection controls building automation systems and various commercial security products.
