This is a contingent position based upon contract award

KBR is seeking a highly motivated and experienced AI Engineer to join our Verification and Validation team. As a key member of our team you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of our AI technologies and products. You will work on a broad range of projects from initial development to deployment and will be responsible for leading technical tasks and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Apply Verification and Validation Techniques:
  • Develop and apply current verification and validation paradigms including model testing simulation and formal methods to ensure the accuracy and reliability of AI systems.
  • Engage in every phase of the system development lifecycle including requirements generation system and software design implementation integration and testing.
  • Take ownership of critical tasks and lead technical teams to deliver highquality solutions.
  • Participate in the development of proposals and whitepapers to secure funding for verification and validation projects.
• Technical Leadership and Mentorship:
  • Assume technical lead responsibilities and mentor junior engineers to help them develop their skills and expertise.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure successful project .
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams to develop and deploy AI solutions.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and solutions to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Engage with other teams to identify opportunities for verification and validation of AI systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Strong background in software engineering artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• Experience with current verification and validation paradigms including model testing simulation and formal methods.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Java or C.
• Strong background in signal processing theory and application (radar communication electronic warfare sonar audio or biomedical).

Soft Skills:

• Selfmotivation strong work ethic and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as computer science electrical engineering or mathematics.
• 5 years of experience in AI or a related field.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering Computer Science or other related discipline.
• Experience developing with machine learning frameworks (Pytorch Tensorflow MxNet Caffe Keras etc..
• Experience with Python and multiple libraries (NumPy OpenCV Scikit Pandas SciPy etc..
• Understanding of software engineering best practices.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a Poly

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses commissions or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation.
