Fam is Indias first payments app for everyone above 11. FamApp helps make online and offline payments through UPI and FamCard. We are on a mission to raise a new financially aware generation and drive 250 million youngest users in India to kickstart their financial journey super early in their life.

About this Role
We are looking for a dynamic Engineering Manager to lead and grow our engineering team at Fam. In this role you will manage a team of engineers ensuring they are aligned with our product vision and company goals. You will be responsible for delivering highquality software driving engineering initiatives and scaling systems that power millions of transactions every day. If you are a peopleoriented leader who thrives in a fastpaced environment and has a passion for building scalable fintech solutions this role is for you.
On the Job
- Lead and manage a team of 68 engineers fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Drive team performance through goal setting regular feedback and career development.
- Oversee endtoend delivery of engineering projects ensuring they are on time within scope and meet highquality standards.
- Collaborate with product Design and business teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives and customer needs.
- Ensure best practices in code quality testing CI/CD and deployment processes.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the development process driving improvements in productivity and performance.
- Build a highperforming engineering culture emphasising collaboration mentorship and knowledge sharing.
Musthaves (Min. qualifications)
- 58 years of handson software engineering experience with a strong background in building scalable distributed systems.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams managing team dynamics and mentoring engineers.
- Strong coding skills in languages like Python or Go
- Experience in managing engineering processes including code reviews sprint planning and performance evaluations.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (like AWS) and modern infrastructure tools (Kubernetes pulumi etc..
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to align teams with business goals.
Good to have
- Experience in fintech payments or banking domains.
- Knowledge of micro services architecture and containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with project management tools.
- Exposure to system monitoring and performance optimization at scale.
