Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager the Junior Engine Technician is responsible for performing assigned duties safely and in a manner that ensures the airworthiness of the aviation product is maintained. The ideal candidate should be able to excel in a dynamic team environment and will work under the immediate and direct supervision of a Certified Technician or Supervisor. This role is based in Wilmington OH.
Responsibilities:
- Assist other workers in servicing repairing and overhauling engines and articles
- Disassembly and reassembly of components
- Cleaning and assisting with the removal of aircraft components
- Comply with hazardous material disposal procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to lift and move 40 pounds
- The ability to teardown inspection parts requisition assembly test troubleshoot repair and overhaul aircraft fuel/pneumatic components
- Selfmotivation and hardworking attitude
- Able to work in a teamoriented environment
- English language proficiency to be able to read and interpret maintenance manuals and service bulletins
