Seeking an experienced Carpentry Foreman to oversee and manage all aspects of Carpentry work on construction sites. You will supervise a team of workers ensuring that projects adhere to safety and quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
Pay: $35 $40 an hour Based on Experience
Location: Within a 60 mile radius of Madison WI
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 4:00 PM OVERTIME

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct a crew of workers in various carpentry tasks including installing structures and fixtures such as frames windows doors flooring trim and hardware.
- Operate forklifts man lifts and other construction site equipment after obtaining certification.
- Provide training and guidance to crew members.
- Collaborate with the General Superintendent of Madison the VP of Madison.
- Operations and other trade partners to ensure seamless coordination of the project.
- Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications to plan and execute carpentry work.
- Ensure that all materials tools and equipment are available and ready to use.
- Inspect work to ensure it meets WB quality standards and local building codes.
- Conduct regular safety meetings (morning huddles etc. and inspections to ensure a safe work environment.
- Prepare and submit required reports including timesheets daily logs etc.
- Willingness to take on responsibilities beyond those outlined in the job description.
Qualifications:- Minimum of 57 years of experience in carpentry work with at least 23 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of concrete construction techniques materials and best practices.
- Employee exhibits and abides by Employee Success Formula (Top 18.
- Must possess a valid drivers license.
- OSHA 30Hour Construction Certification ACI Certification First Aid/CPR.
- Certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to problemsolve and think creatively.
- Must be detailoriented with the ability to maintain a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when faced with tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
