Canada Goose is looking for an inspiring Director Internal Communications to lead how we connect with our most important audience our employees worldwide. This is a unique opportunity to shape our internal narrative ensuring our global team feels informed inspired connected to our mission and valued.
In this role youll be a key culture carrier translating our business goals and brand spirit into engaging communications that resonate across our corporate retail and manufacturing teams. Youll not only craft strategies but also listen actively using employee insights to make our communications even more effective. What Youll Do:
- Shape Our Internal Voice: Develop and guide our internal communications strategy ensuring it authentically reflects Canada Gooses brand culture and business direction.
- Partner for Impact: Work closely with senior leaders across the company helping them communicate clearly effectively and inspiringly.
- Navigate Change Together: Lead communication efforts during times of change focusing on transparency clarity and keeping our teams engaged.
- Build Connection & Culture: Design and implement programs that strengthen our global community celebrate our values and create meaningful connections between leadership and employees.
- Listen and Adapt: Champion the use of employee feedback and data to continuously refine communication approaches and enhance engagement.
- Craft Compelling Content: Oversee the creation of engaging content and optimize our internal channels (like intranets newsletters town halls) to reach every employee effectively.
- Measure What Matters: Track and analyze the effectiveness of our communications using insights to constantly improve how we connect.
- Collaborate for Good: Partner with HR Marketing Sustainability and other teams to champion initiatives related to inclusion belonging employee experience and our positive impact on the world.
- Be a Trusted Guide: Advise and coach leaders on best practices for communication and storytelling.
- Lead Our Community Connection: Develop and manage community engagement programs that align with our values and philanthropic goals building strong relationships with partners and sharing the story of our impact.
Who You Are:
- An Experienced Communicator: You have a strong track record (around 8 years is a great benchmark) in internal or corporate communications ideally within a global retail or consumerfocused environment.
- A Master Storyteller: You excel at writing and crafting clear engaging narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. You know how to turn business updates into compelling stories.
- Insightful & Adaptable: You have proven experience understanding employee sentiment and engagement data using those insights to shape and evolve communication strategies.
- A Bridge Builder: You build relationships easily and can confidently advise and influence senior leaders and collaborate effectively across different teams and functions.
- CommunityMinded: Experience or a strong interest in community relations corporate social responsibility or nonprofit partnerships is a valuable asset.
- TechSavvy: Youre proficient with various internal communication platforms and tools and know how to leverage them effectively.
