Are you an organized detailoriented professional with a passion for numbers and office management Our client a wellestablished and growing plumbing and heating company is seeking a Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join their team in Moncton New Brunswick.

In this permanent role you will oversee daily bookkeeping and administrative operations helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of a busy office. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy taking initiative this could be the opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

  • Manage fullcycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
  • Process payroll and ensure timely remittance of government filings and other compliance requirements
  • Oversee office operations including inventory management vendor communications and supplies procurement
  • Submit bookkeeping to the external accountant and oversee taxes and government remittances as needed
  • Support and coordinate with office staff
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency
  • Act as the point of contact for clients vendors and external stakeholders ensuring exceptional communication and customer service

Experience & Attributes for Success:

  • Postsecondary education in Business Administration or Accounting; or related field with comparable experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar multifaceted role involving bookkeepingfocused duties
  • Strong proficiency in Sage50 with the ability to jump in to manage all financial tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of organization
  • Proven time management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Openminded and keen to learn while being an independent and reliable worker
  • Dependable and committed work ethic
