Were looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our engineering team in Burnaby Canada. Reporting to the Sr. Director Software Development Engineering you will be responsible for:

• Fixing customer and cloud reliability issues and delivering reliability features for critical customers
• Developing solutions and observability tools focusing on early detection and prevention of cloud and customer issues
• Designing and driving solutions that provide reliable cloud security for customers
• Building automation for troubleshooting and monitoring purposes

What Were Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• 5 years of experience in software development and/or sustenance engineering
• Proficient in programming languages such as C C Python and Linux
• Handson experience with network security products and technologies like firewalls VPNs and data protection
• Strong interest in troubleshooting and problem solving for customer issues and good knowledge with public cloud and/or kubernetes technologies is a plus
• Experience in developing cloud and customer reliability tools

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a relevant field of Engineering
• Experience with cloud reliability engineering in comparable technology environments
• Proven success in delivering products as cloudbased services
