As a Director on the Chief of Staff team you will collaborate closely with the DMDC leadership team on core organizational challenges and strategy.
The role is a people leader reporting to the Chief of Staff for Card DMDC. The key objectives and responsibilities for the role revolve around Operations Associate Experience and Talent.
Operations: Continually evolve DMDCs management practices for direct and partner teams to efficiently transparently and effectively coordinate delivery of crossteam initiatives. Build relationships with DMDC leaders and key stakeholders to better understand their needs and optimize operations accordingly. Advocate for DMDC with partner teams and influence processes that impact our team.
Associate Experience: Craft a strategy for DMDC associate experience that fosters belonging among all associates helps associates build ties across teams and within geographies and ensures that great work is recognized.
Talent: Partner with the DMDC leadership team and HR business partners to build a thriving team with a focus on headcount forecasting recruiting (professional and students & grads) onboarding and learning.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or Military Experience
At least 5 years of experience in Project Management Product Management or Business Analysis OR supporting a Chief of Staff or Internal Communications team
Preferred Qualifications:
7 years of experience in Project Management Product Management or Business Analysis OR supporting a Chief of Staff or Internal Communications team
2 years of people management experience

The minimum and maximum fulltime annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean VA: $226000 $257900 for Director Chief of StaffCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
