Job Description:
Duties and responsibilities:
- Daily travel to customer sites occasional overtime and sporadic oncall emergency service is required to meet customers needs.
- Provides technical assistance on equipment startups installations and repairs of compressed air systems including handson work to assure equipment operates to customers requirements.
- Serves as technical support for customers and sales team as needed.
- Documents service and installation activities by completing work orders for each job maintenance checklist and daily time sheets in a timely manner.
- Increase HGAPs customers awareness of how products services and solutions (preventive maintenance audits etc. can benefit their operations.
- Maintains rapport with customers by addressing complaints identifying solutions suggesting improved methods and techniques and recommending system improvements.
- Ensures proper operation of compressed air equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements and inspections on a wide variety of compressors refrigerated dryers desiccant dryers and additional compressed air components.
- Works with Service Coordination team on identifying parts and supplies necessary to complete assigned service repairs.
- Conduct safety assessments of a continuously changing working environment.
- Submit expense reports timesheets and other assigned documentation as required.
- Follow all Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate customer feedback to service management team as needed
- Drive field concerns to closure in a timely manner
Education:
- Associates Degree a plus
- Technical Trade School a plus
Professional experience:
- 1 years of technical training or equivalent experience installing and troubleshooting compressed air dryer systems
- Experience with rotary screw Oil Free Compressors a plus
- Demonstrated success in technical training
- Experience with industrial product manufacturing and processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to engage and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Strong grasp of Microsoft office required
- Ability to read and understand schematics
- Ability to work independently or on a team
