The role is part of Invesco Real Estates UK Ireland and Nordics Investments team based in London. The team is responsible for the oversight and performance of over 4 Billion in Assets Under Management (AUM).
What we are we looking for:
The Senior Associate will partner with the Investment Manager in the oversight of various residential real estate investments with the goal of optimizing asset performance. They will play an integral role in developing and executing asset management initiatives analyzing major leasing decisions and conducting financial analysis including budgeting forecasting and variance analysis to support decisionmaking processes. The Senior Associate will be responsible for evaluating property level performance against relevant benchmarks providing analysis for quarterly valuations and producing monthly quarterly and annual reports as required.
For select assets the Senior Associate may be directly responsible for the daily operations and client deliverables as directed by the Investment Manager.
Responsibilities include:
Working with the Investment Manager to create and execute property level operational strategies. Analyzing major leasing decisions oversee capital projects and driving additional asset level strategies as required. Working collaboratively alongside various third party property managers JV partners and various other stakeholders.
Leading in the analysis of valuation models (Argus and Excel) and taking part in the acquisition and disposition process overseeing the flow of due diligence information for select investments as needed.
Preparation of various financial analysis as needed included monthly/quarterly asset actual vs. budget/business plan performance. Analyzing trends and providing recommendations to further drive asset level performance.
Coordinating the development of Annual Business Plans and Monthly/Quarterly reports by assisting in the preparation of property operating and capital budgets.
Collecting analyzing and synthesizing relevant market reports and other lease or transaction related data.
Assisting the Investment Manager in creating asset level ESGR goals for each investment and working closely with third party managers JV partners and outside consultants to help effectuate those objectives.
What you can bring:
Experience in the commercial real estate industry (or businessrelated activity) is preferred.
Prior experience in residential asset management investments or transactions is strongly preferred.
Effective interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and listening skills.
Strong financial analysis and modeling skills with proficiency in Argus Yardi and the Microsoft Office suite (Excel Word and PowerPoint).
Ability to understand and interpret lease agreements and language as well as present value concepts and financial terminology.
Analytical problem solving skills and capable to undertake detailed analyses and make wellreasoned decisive recommendations.
Demonstrated prioritization organization and time management skills necessary to balance competing deadlines.
Desire to multitask and work independently and collaboratively in a complex highvolume environment.
Competency to work with all levels of management and personnel on critical projects.
A degree (or equivalent) in Finance Real Estate Economics or a financially related subject or the jobholder is able to demonstrate equivalent academic caliber. A commitment to continued education in real estate will be encouraged.
