Amazon seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join the team behind the worlds leading book business. The successful candidate will be analytical and have a demonstrated ability to support business decisions through exceptional writing skills and verbal communication financial analysis and logical reasoning. Key job responsibilities
Execute reporting and analytical projects for core Finance and FP&A deliverables
Contribute to financial planning activities for both our annual planning cycle and for our quarterly guidance deliverables
Contribute insightful analysis in areas such as pricing (ASP) higherP&L profitability metrics (Net PPM and Gross Margin analytics) CosttoServe Allocations and Operating Profit and Margin drivers
Collaborate with global marketplace finance teams to analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for profitability improvement
Bachelors degree in BI finance engineering statistics computer science mathematics finance or equivalent quantitative field
3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
Experience in financial modeling P&L management or analysis
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
Experience in identifying leading and executing opportunities to improve automate standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
